Job duties:

  • Provide satisfactory education and flying instructions to aspiring students
  • Conduct training flights
  • Evaluate students’ knowledge and skills and develop student’s weakness to strengths
  • Teach students up to date techniques and concepts
  • Ensure the safety of students when using aircrafts by having regular inspections of aircrafts, checking weather reports, matching the level of competence of students to complex training and instructions
  •  Ensure that the standard of learning and performance of students are effective
  •  Maintain competence in flying at all times by continuing education, keeping up to date on the
  • latest concepts and ensure proficiency in flying through training and practice
  •  Set practical test to students as well as endorsements and recommendations
  •  Other duties as assigned.


  •  CPL, Class 4 or 3 flight instructor rating fixed wing
  •  Aviation Medical Cat. 1
  •  Responsible individual
  •  Good decision-making skills
  •  Ability to work independently
  •  Ability to carefully maintain flight records
  •  Must wear uniform at all times when on duty

Other requirements considered an asset:

  •  Previous experience with integrated courses (iATPL)
  •  Glass Cockpit experience
  •  Complex Aircraft experience
  •  Aerobatic experience
  •  ME Rating
  •  IFR Group 1

In return for your hard work and dedication, we will provide you with a competitive flight rate.

Flight rate: $24/hr. for a Class IV, $29/hr. for a Class III, applicable on flights, ground briefings, ground school and simulator sessions.

Job duties:
• Supervise and instruct Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AAME)
• Demonstrate leadership in safety by promoting policies and procedures emphasizing personal safety and the safety of all personnel in the hangar
• Carry out all work assigned to him/her in accordance with approved maintenance procedures (MPM) and applicable Transport Canada standards
• Completion and certification of all log books, worksheets, work cards and other associated documentation
• Assumes responsibility for his/her work as indicated by his/her signature
• Duty to report all issues affecting the airworthiness of the fixed-wing fleet
• Assist Director of Maintenance in preparation for any scheduled regulatory audits
• Perform and other duties or assignments within his/her capabilities and related areas that the Director of Maintenance may request

• Possess a valid AME License, Category M1 and/or M2
• 3 years of experience on Cessna 172 M/N/SP
• Knowledge and understanding of the Canadian Aviation Regulations as they pertain to maintenance and airworthiness of aircraft
• Ability to work shifts, and weekends, when required
• Good decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to carefully maintain maintenance records in accordance with best practices

  • Ensure that flights are planned safely and efficiently
  • Monitor flights attentively from start to finish
  • Monitor weather conditions while providing route/weather observations to Flight and Ground Crew as necessary
  • Advise the Operations Manager of any abnormal incidents involving flights, whether airborne or on the ground, including activating of overdue/missing aircraft, or incident/accident procedures
  • Ensure that all necessary and essential information is relayed to the crew in a timely manner to ensure safe flights
  • Liaise with all team memebers for client/customer requests, or operational issues affecting customer service; coordinate accommodations, parking, dining, or any other issues or requests that may arise
  • Work with Operations manager to plan, organize and manage flight operational logistics of organization
  • Provide training to team members in job duties, safety procedures and company policies


  • Previous Flight Dispatching or Airline experience preferred.
  • Training provided to appropriate candidate
  • Customer service efficient, personable and easy to communicate with
  • Analytical and organized, with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with fast-paced and high-stress situations
  • Northern experience an asset but not required
  • Transport Canada Flight Dispatch Generic Exams an asset but not required

Dispatch General Duties

  • Responsibly use and maintain Company equipment
  • Comply with Company, Health and Safety, MOT Standards and Regualations
  • Strong computer skills (Web, Excel, Word)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Provide excellent customer service – receive and assist customers as required
  • Willing to work Shift Work including Holidays and weekends
  • Complete work related to all shifts on Dispatch/Ramp Shift Report Daily Checklist
  • Resolve conflict between instructor and aircraft scheduling (within shift)
  • Monitor Flight Sheet completion
  • Adjust Day Of scheduling as required
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer requests
